Horrible experience. Misdiagnoised my problem. Installed a thermostat and circuit board still didn’t work. Charged me $129 service call charge, plus $540 for a circuit board under warranty. I spoke directly with manufacturer and they said it should have cost ~$150. Time to install, <30 minutes. One Hour H&C sent their Sr. service man on follow up visit, he apologized that the other service man was a rookie and hadn’t worked on my specific equipment before. DO NOT TRUST! I booked an appointment online and received a confirmation message. Ten minutes before the appointment time, I received a call to let me know that the online scheduler was not working and they would not be able to come out for two days! Unfortunately, I now have to try to find another company that can come out today as my parents try to fight the heat with no A/C.
This is our second time calling this company. We have had ongoing issues with our ac and furnace unit but we called to have it checked out. We have been told by other companies this or that may be the issue without ever giving specific findings. They both times were able to identify the issue and fix it quickly. The technician was friendly and explained what to do to prevent the current problem we were experiencing. I recommend this company if you don’t want unnecessary repairs and want the job done right.
