We came at a not so busy time and we didn't have a large party (2 adults 3 kids) yet 3 families of same size (who came after us migxxv left and we were still waiting for our food to be served. after waiting for all that time I was hoping the food would make up for us having to wait but I was sadly mistaken. Mediocre at best.

We had to wait 1 1/2 hours in blistering heat to get in. The service was good the food good but would not go back.
After waiting for two hours to get seated and then waiting for the food it was not worth it! To many things wrong with the food! They need a better cook and a better prep manager! As small as the place was it seemed as if the waitress had more tables than she could handle! This was a Fourth of July weekend! They should have been better prepared to handle all the people!
RecommendedAmazing southern home-cooked food. The collard greens and jalapeño cornbread are out of this world! We can say the same for the mac & cheese, lima beans, barbecue chicken, brisket, pulled pork, and more. Hands down, best dinner that we had during our entire week at Hilton Head!! The service was outstanding as well!
