I’m super frustrated with this clinic. I’ve been a patient here for the last few years and just recently switched clinics. I’ve been Dr. Lukenaar’s patient, and every time I’ve seen him, he hasn’t been very helpful. I recently was diagnosed with iron-deficiency because I had to rush to the hospital and it had taken me over a month now to get the answers to my questions and I still don’t have any from these doctors. Is a walk-in clinc, refuses to book appointments over the phone. You must physically walk-in to receive a scheduled appointment that may be hours later. The secreatary puts everyone on hold and never returns. Unless you're there when they open you're unlikely to get a walk-in appointment and will be turned away. The doctors are always running late by 30 minutes to an hour and the waiting room only has 7 chairs, meaning the majority of patients are left standing. Even those with disabilities or seniors.
I’ve been a patient at this clinic for more than 4 years, and I can honestly say it’s been an excellent experience from the very beginning. When I first started coming here, I was still struggling with my English, but everyone — from the reception staff to the nurses and doctors — was always patient, kind, and respectful. I went in to see my usual family doctor and was NOT told I would be seeing a different doctor. I repeated my situation to the different doctor about 4 times then he prescribed me with medication. (He didnt seem to be listening to me if I had to tell him 4 times) When i went to pick up the medication from the Shoppers pharmacy, the pharmacist told me I shouldnt have been given this medication, which the doctor neglected to tell me as well as prescribe me with it.
