I’m truly outraged by this credit union!!!! They charged me $242 in courtesy pay fees because of a glitch in their computer and now are saying they will not wave the fees even though they did not courtesy pay for any of my transactions! They had my money on hold to pay for purchases but charged me for releasing my money!!! DO Not BANK WITH THIS CREDIT UNION!!!!!! No one is willing to listen to me and when they do and realize I’m right they still won’t acknowledge it!

I applied for a car loan yesterday and drove away today. Lakita was very helpful, patient and informative. She explained everything to me clearly while being pleasant with every interaction. My interest rate was much lower than I expected. I’ve recommended several friends and family to apply for their loans through 1DCU.

I’ve been a loyal customer of One Detroit Credit Union/Communication Arts Credit Union for over five years!!! Having a hold placed on a State of MI unemployment check is totally unacceptable especially during a pandemic!!!! They have no care or compassion for the customer!! I will be closing my account ASAP!!!!

I’m upset. I’m disappointed. I fee violated. I’m frustrated. I’m confused as to why One Detroit has people who focus more on protecting thieves than the interest of their account holders. Leadership/ management is garbage. Lie to their customers face, and try to make it seem like I lack the common sense to know when something has been stolen from me.
