Our son Jonathan was diagnosed three years ago (at age 14, high school freshman) with Nodular lymphocyte predominant Hodgkin's lymphoma (NLPHL), a rare form of Hodgkins Lymphoma. He is now 2 1/2 years cancer-free!!! We will be forever grateful for his amazing medical team at Children's oncology, especially Dr Michlitsch, Nurse Debbie and Nurse Terry .... and the countless others who assisted throughout his chemo treatments at CHO Hematology/Oncology clinic. Stating back January 25, 2005, I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocyte Leukemia at Children's Hospital and it was a very tough thing to go through being in the hospital for about a month. Dr. Torkildson and the other doctors along with nurses were very caring and kind to me that they were very humble as well. I really enjoyed Children's hospital a lot and they helped me survive treatment and that I fought a tough battle and won the war. They are the best. The Doctor spoke to my son so he knew what was going on. She answered all his questions and made him comfortable.
