I just had a miserable experience yesterday. Over the summer i got great prices and they offered me a fair amount for my trade. Yesterday, i got barely anything for brand new, tagged clothes my daughter never wore. I could not find anything for fall. No long sleeves, no jackets, hardly any pants. I found some denim, and i ended up buying it, only to get home and realize 2 of the 3 pairs of jeans were labeled 0-3 when they were actually Newborn. That isn't the same thing. Prices are way off! Very disappointed. $70 for a used car seat that sells brand new for less than that price ls ridiculous! Under armor hoodie for $25 when you can get it brand new at a outlet store for $20. I use to love this store but it has become all about money.
I've been shopping here for 6 years now. I've always told my friends about it when they needed to get rid of their children's clothes and toys. I've also gotten a lot of my son's clothes and toys there. But the last two times that I have taken stuff there to be sold has left a bitter taste in my mouth and making me feel that I have been low balled as far as the amount they are offering me. Every time I drop off items to sell, I am terribly disappointed in how long it takes to have items sorted and tagged. If you want sellers to pick up their items not to be purchased on the same business day, don't take 4 hours.
This place may have some good finds, but at the same time , I am very displeased with the way they buy your used clothing . I brought in two large bags of very nice clothing.. They only accepted a small amount , and only offered me 4 dollars. The clothing I was attempting to sell to them was much nicer than the clothing they sell in their store. I am very disappointed and will never again take my children's items there.
Watch what you buy some great deals and other way over priced don't waste your time selling I brang a big box of clothes in with tags still on them name brand and great condition nike shoes and they didn't want them then offer me money for my sons old faded Walmart shorts very confused would not sell to them and watch when your buying!!
I like to shop here for my son they have tons of clothes and most of the prices are good but some things that clearly look worn, you can buy in the store brand new for almost the same price (especially pajamas). But the seeking process could be better. I took several clothes there all in wonderful shape and I also had some shoes even a pair of brand new stride rites that they didn't take. I always come in at the beginning of the season and my my little guy all he needs. I always find cute things there. We really like the children's place jeans and at once they are affordable!
I was looking for a specific item and they suggested their call list. Awesome. Except they don't pay attention to what you actually want. I got called to come purchase the item I signed up for. I confirmed make and model before driving 25 min one way with a cranky 16 month old to find it's not even close to what they told me.
