Anonymous I used to love shopping at once upon a child but over the past year I have had a change of heart. I brought in two huge bags of clothes and toys. Some of the clothes were BRAND NEW and some were gently used. They only bought 1 sweatshirt, 1 pair of shoes and 2 toys. They said that they don't except anything with stains or anything that looks used. None of the clothes that I tried to sell had stains on them and as I mentioned some of them had never been worn. Once Upon a Child I was really not impressed. I found that they put together their own sets and are often different sizes put together. I also found several items that were stained or torn. They will only buy your clothes if they are from upscale shops like Gymboree, GAP, The Children's Place. I actually overheard one of their employees telling a lady that they didn't buy her clothes that she had brought in because they were cheap, from Target, Wal-Mart, Ross, etc. What a complete disappointment this store was.
Once upon a child for new and gently used clothes Once Upon a Child carries new and used clothing for infants, children and maternity. They also carry and rent breastfeeding supplies and toys. This is a great money saving place to find gently used items with a lot of life left in them.

I've had them not buy things from me saying stains, poor condition, when they're not. Then, when I look on the racks, there's clothing with stains, holes, and Target, Wal-Mart, and KMart brands that are marked the same or higher than if you bought them new at the original store. Snooty and rude for a thrift shop Incredibly rude. Staff seems too busy doing nothing to be helpful. Just go to Goodwill or any other thrift shop.
