On the Square is one of my very favorite places to eat. The staff is friendly and the service is great. I especially love the Garden burger made with butter beans.

Incredible wine dinner with Sommelier Greg Harrington last night. Fabulous food, service, and atmosphere.
Trigger fish last night was probably the best piece of fish I’ve ever eaten. Stephen’s talents with fish entrees seem unending. The wine pairings & service are second to none. All this in quaint little Tarboro. Once a Dimond in the rough, now a desired destination! Enjoy! You’ll thank me!

Calamari was superb and desserts succulent. Shrimp and Grits were tasty just needed more grits. Would definitely come again.
