Every day at 8 a.m., we start chopping veggies, soaking beans, and prepping our mesquite-fired grill. Not because we have to, but because we believe in delicious flavors made-to-order, from hand-rolled enchiladas to our sizzling fajitas to guacamole made right at your table. Everything pairs nicely with a grande margarita, and of course, enjoy the always endless chips and salsa.

I went to On the Border, order my meal... while I waited I got some spicy salsa and some chips, to go with the corona i was drinking.. most crunchies chips I tasted in a while... the salsa is on point too... good place to go and meet friends and have a beer
I love it when a place offers free chips! On the Border also serves some of the coldest beer in town. The glass they serve the beer in is frozen so the beer is as crisp and refreshing as possible. The food is delicious! It's also a cool place to hangout with your friends.
On the Border Mexican Grill On the Border is a fun Mexican restaurant! It has a great atmosphere, delicious food, and good margaritas. The service is good and the prices are reasonable.
Patricia On The Border is a classical Mexican restaurant located very conveniently in Mission Valley. You feel like you are in old Mexico when you enter the doors. Excellent food and service. We go often.
Food Is Good If They Serve You I enjoy the food at On The Border in Mission Valley, however I have had several experiences where the waitstaff did not bring the food to the table. During one visit we placed our order and snacked on chips and drinks. At 3 different times the waitress told us that our order would "be right out" and that "they are putting it on the plate!".
