RecommendedOur first visit was because our Doberman, Murphey was suddenly very ill. I had her for 12 years. The doctor was very thorough and compassionate.....but we knew what had to be done. It was one of THE worst times in my life but I thank God they were there! Second visit was with my new puppy, all went great. To whom ever I can, I recommend On Point.

Today was our first appointment with my snake, Dr H was amazing! She was very knowledgeable, and handled my guy so kindly. And I found it too be very affordable. See it was a exotic I was a little nervous lol,but was definitely very happy! And, I’m happy too say Slytherin has pooped a whole bunch since we’ve been home! And can’t forget get all the staff we met today, were awesome!
I tried and at first liked On Point on Hwy 17, as doc and staff seemed good. BUT BEWARE EVERYONE: The owner, Marissa, tries to fleece you and does not seem to care at all about your sick pet. My dog had a preventative heartworm shot early in the day. By afternoon she had an allergic reaction, constantly heaving. Staff told me to bring her back. I was there at 4:00, and they close at 6:00. Great staff and wonderful service. They cured my dog in 30 days vs. 1 year spending my money and no results. This is the place to go. The last place I use to go to got to big. In & out service. Had to wait forever.
Good care for an emergency situation with our Chihuahuas. They were a recommendation from Animal Hospital of the Strand in Myrtle, transferred from there for continued care. It was much cleaner than most vet offices we've been to up North, there was no long wait, and the vet thoroughly explained aftercare and patiently answered our questions. We're grateful our pups received the care they needed.

I am so happy On Point Animal Hospital opened in Surfside because they are the best at treating my 11 year old Yorki-Poo.Their front Desk Staff (Molly,Melissa & Chuck) are great and Dr Meg Smith and Dr Bodiker are very compassionate & thorough. I would highly recommend On Point Animal Hospital to any pet owner.
