On A Roll is 2009 Best of Philadelphia Eaten here several times and always enjoyed the quality and amount of food. A favorite of jurors who are on lunch break. Latest Philadelphia magazine gave them 2009 Best Hoagie in Philadelphia award.
Dont go there – This is a sandwich shop that obviously doesn?t need your business. I order a chicken sandwich and cheese quesadilla to go. The owner refused to make the quesadilla because it was a dinner item and it was not dinner time. Dinner menu begins at 4 and it was 3:15. Were not talking about a fine dinning establishment or any additional prep that is needed to fulfill this order. The owner does not appreciate your business and I strongly suggest that if you want a sandwich in Media, go to the other 15 other shops.
Great Sandwich Shop On A Roll just moved across the street from their original location and it seems to have made a difference. They specialize in awesome sandwiches made just the way you like them. Choose from many different types of breads and condiments and the meat assortment is large. Go here in the winter to get some great tasting soup. Hits the spot on a very cold day.
You only get what you pay for. You should see this resterant. They have the best tasting sandwitches in media. They serve a full plate of food, and they let you carry your food to the table of your chooce. They really have plenty of seats and a few tables outside. This is one you just have to try, if you are in town. It is expensive, but well worth the money.
