My soft tissue cancer, myxofibrosarcoma tumor grade 3 was diagnosed at Tampa General Hospital's Pathology department in December 2020. My surgeon, at Tampa general, Michael Harrington immediately called Dr. Binitie, a sarcoma specialist at Moffitt Magnolia. I have been under Dr. Binitie's care ever since. I asked Dr. Binitie to review my medical history files, MRI reports, lab reports and doctors analysis of my right knee for Pigmented Villonodular Synovitis or PVNS (abbreviation). In the reports completed at Moffitt Cancer Center in 2011 was a lab report showing "villonodular tenosynovitis" which is morphologic very similar to PVNS. Dr. Binitie informed Moffitt appointment center to advise me to see another orthopedic surgeon outside of Moffitt Cancer Center to determine right knee treatment.
Dr. Binitie treats my brother at Moffitt Center. He was the first Doctor we met at Moffitt, for what has become treatments involving 5 doctors. Dr. Binitie is always very forthcoming, relatable and even funny while treating my brother. Him and his team never keep us waiting and always put my brother' comfort first. I highly recommend the Moffitt Center and this particular doctor as he has made this treatment process much easier to handle for the patient and his family.
Excellent Physician. He is an extremely talented surgeon with a great bed side manner. He explained everything very well and addressed all my concerns as the patient.
Doctor Binitie is nothing short of an angel in my eyes, he saved my son's arm (affected by bone cancer) when everyone else said it couldn't be done. He treated us with kindness, respect and kept us informed all throughout the surgery. This man is brilliant and embodies what a doctor should always be, God bless Dr. Binitie.
What separates Dr. Binitie from the rest is that he actually listens and engages with the family. He was thorough and very personable in treating our 16 year old son. He took the time to address our questions and concerns. Most importantly, he took his time to get to know our son and was caring and compassionate. His medical expertise is without a doubt why we decided to seek his help. The staff was also very caring, loving and compassionate. Thank you Dr. Binitie
