At The LaCosta Resort and Spa main check in the lobby today, I noticed there was a huge fireplace up and running. I thought this was odd and insensitive, with 100 degrees temperatures as I looked out the windows to see black billowing smoke coming from the San Marcos fire. I phoned the front desk and was told this fireplace is on and running 24/7 365 days a year. hmmm. Please forward my comments to the management team.

Our server, Ramon, and the rest of his team at Bistro 65 is AWESOME! I wanted to try something new so I ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca for dinner and it was excellent, very flavorful and out of this world. We had buffalo wings and grilled flatbread for appetizer and they were all spot on. The wings were not extremely spicy; they were just the way we like our wings.
