Olympic view group is the worst property management company. Stay far, far away from Olympic View Group. I would not even rate them a one star, it would be minus, minus, minus. Carl Japeth, the property manager: 1. Failed to screen out tenants well. This resulted in a $9,000 attorney fee to get the tenants out 2. Failed to do a 6 month check on the rental property 3. Failed to send me 1099 4. Failed to send me monthly statements 5. Lost my rental property keys 6. Failed to return phone calls to tenants, attorney and myself f... read more
If I could give 0 stars, I very certainly would. This rental group gave my husband and I false hope when going through the application process. We jumped through every hoop and despite having the income which was about 3x the rent, we were declined for the property we were interested in. Even with speaking to someone from the rental company, they were LESS THAN HELPFUL! If you are looking for a FAIR rental company, this is not one by ANY means!
Don’t rent from them. Their properties are terribly maintained and getting them to fix anything is a massive pain only reason I even rented with them is I was between jobs and they were willing to accept rent up front as I didn’t have pay stubs. Judy is rude at best and incompetent at worst. They never follow up on any problems and never come back even when they say they will do it. If you are wanting to be fairly considered for housing I would strongly advice against using this company. My wife and I were inquiring about a duplex for rent out of Elma WA, when the real estate agent said she would need to speak with the next door neighbor who is retired on whether or not they are ok with a 3 month old living next door. They are concerned the crying might become a problem for the next door neighbor.
