Olympic view group is the worst property management company. Stay far, far away from Olympic View Group. I would not even rate them a one star, it would be minus, minus, minus. Carl Japeth, the property manager: 1. Failed to screen out tenants well. This resulted in a $9,000 attorney fee to get the tenants out 2. Failed to do a 6 month check on the rental property 3. Carl and Judy, and family, have represented our rental for many years now. They, and their staff, are top notch. Olympic View Group has gone to bat for us when needed, and quite frankly saved us money (and angst). Mostly though, it's their friendly and professional service, coupled with years of practical experience, that has kept my tenants respectful. Don’t rent from them. Their properties are terribly maintained and getting them to fix anything is a massive pain only reason I even rented with them is I was between jobs and they were willing to accept rent up front as I didn’t have pay stubs. Judy is rude at best and incompetent at worst. They never follow up on any problems and never come back even when they say they will do it. Like the guy who said he would call me back about ceiling light two weeks, haven’t heard a peep. My heater went out on Sunday, called on Monday... read more
If I could give 0 stars, I very certainly would. This rental group gave my husband and I false hope when going through the application process. We jumped through every hoop and despite having the income which was about 3x the rent, we were declined for the property we were interested in. Even with speaking to someone from the rental company, they were LESS THAN HELPFUL! If you are looking for a FAIR rental company, this is not one by ANY means!
