Olympia veterinary clinic We just had a bad experience here with a high bill of 684.00 to go with it. The vet was a Young girl and we didn't trust any of what she was doing for our dog. We asked for a second opinion and they gave us a phone number of a hot line to call for advice. We left our dog in there care very sad and confused if we where doing the right thing. I would like to talk to an owner of this place but who know who that is. Please don't take your pet here. You have the right to not be overcharged and taken adva... read more
Adequate but watch out for extra costs I took my dog here with a standard, ordinary ear infection. They did a culture to be certain what type of infection it was and prescribed panalog. Simple enough. However, I was not happy with the clinic because 1) I felt the prices were too high, and 2) the vet was about to just treat my dog with an antiinflamatory injection without consulting me first. I had to ask what he was getting ready to do and when he told me I opted out of it. The infection was not that bad and I knew the panal... read more
Excellent Diagnostic Skills and Courteous staff My cat had bald patches on her neck. I took her to a vet that prescribed 2 different kinds of medication. When that didn't work, I brought my cat to Dr. Kiefer who determined she was over-grooming herself. After interviewing me, he suggested she was probably over-grooming because I had moved her food bowls to a different room. Sure enough, I put the bowls back where she liked them, and her hair grew back. I appreciate that Dr. K didn't jump to medicating my cat. Moving my cat's... read more
They are so great with our rambunctious, teething Weisla puppy Billie Bear. Although we haven’t met in person due to COVID, Dr. Bell takes time to discuss all aspects of puppy’s health and well-being over the phone at end of each visit. The staff is smart, kind, efficient. Their COVID protocol is all about keeping humans safe. We highly recommend OVH and will be taking our senior Vizsla there soon.
Thank you to the Olympia Veterinary Clinic in Olympia. When the world was going a little cray cray, you brought in kindness when we lost our dog, Shasta. Thank you for your support, hand holding, patience, compassion, your follow up card and poem from your staff, and the memory box and pendant for our dog’s ashes. You did a good deed.
Knowledgeable staff, so good with our 3 cats, 2 of which are rescues. Dr. Bell and Debbie and Winston and Abby are all wonderful. Thanks you guys!
Winston was the gentleman i spoke to to ask for availability to have my koolie seen due to being quilled by a porcupine he was super sweet and dr bell was amazing at taking my boy as a drop off so my boy got better now im a loyal client of this place
dr. Bell seems like a real good doctor we with Doctor keeper before and he retired and dr. Bell got the got the prize and he seems to be a very good doctor
The staff here are wonderful and I would highly recommend Olympia Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for a vet. Dr. Bell is extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and explains everything that is going on. He provides prompt email replies to questions that come up outside of appointments, which has been really helpful for me. I moved to town less than two years ago and it has been such a relief to know I have a great vet who can care for my Starfish cat as she gets older.
