OVCC provides a service to pet owners with pets that have cancer. They have helped my dog with a variety of therapies to put his leukemia in remission. Like a lot of health care these days it's not cheap, and I imagine that some can't afford this treatment. I am grateful that I am able to. The folks that work at OVCC are kind and compassionate, and do their best to stay upbeat in spite of what must be some sad circumstances.
Compassionate cancer care for canines.
When my boxer Jaeger had a cancerous tumor removed and went to OVCC for chemo, he actually looked forward to going there for treatments. The vets and techs showered him with treats before, during and after his treatments. Who wouldn't love that? Sadly Jaeger passed away almost 3 years ago, but the treatments - and the TLC he received at OVCC - gave him a couple more quality years with me, which was and is very important to me.
OVCC practices with compassion and understanding during a tough diagnosis with your pet. Staff and doctors are dedicated to the comfort of your pet no matter what plans you choose, from aggressive to palliative treatments. If you have to visit a veterinary oncologist, OVCC is wonderful and caring!
When there is hope, they give you hope. When there is not, they give you comfort and compassion. Thank you Dr. Parshley for all you have done, first with Nootka, and now with Bart. The world is a better place because of you.
Should you find yourself in the very unfortunate situation with a beloved fur-pet having cancer...you and your pet can’t be in better or more compassionate hands than those at Olympia Veterinary Cancer Center. I always felt that my Molly was loved and cared for from from the receptionist to the techs to the doctors. Though I hope I will never need their services again, I will forever be grateful they are here...just in case.
