My Wife has problems with both knees, Dr Wood was recommended by several friends. We Had an appointment with Dr Wood and found him to be very personable and explained things in a way that we could understand. All the options were talked about and We think the best plan was initiated. We Liked Dr Wood a lot and would definitely recommend him for your orthopedic needs.
I needed THREE knee revisions after Dr. Wood’s full knee. Do NOT be fooled by his many hundreds of knee revisions — he works two ORs at once and cuts corners. He gave me a CR knee which requires a PS ligament I don’t have, BUT it’s a faster install. He also gave me a size 5 and I needed a size 7. Today, after seven years of pain and knee instability, I finally have a stable knee — NO thanks to Dr. Wood. I would NEVER go to him again for anything, especially NOT knee surgery!
Dr. Wood will never be trusted with another family member or friend's life if I have anything to say about it. He operated on my husband 4 times, with the last being a knee replacement. The first three times, he'd go in with a plan and then change it and I firmly believe he forced the knee replacement by taking out all the cartilage on the back of the knee cap so it was the only choice.
