Thankfully my insurance plan does not require a referral however when I spoke with a woman who manages the front desk she explained that I needed one. So a referral was faxed over to them and apparently it wasn't "good enough" and needed further approval from my doctor. They stated that my doctor needed to call their doctor and have a conversation. Meanwhile, a patient is suffering... Love our healthcare system
