I love going to the market..great fresh veggies. Altho I am going to raise many of my own this year..plus seriously thinking about getting chickens..would be fun plus can share free range eggs..one of our neighbors also charges $5.00 for her eggs..little high..many of prices way too high..free range chicken is the best..but way too expensive. Oly kraut is wonderful and healthy..
I was somewhat disappointed in my visit to the market today. I feel the prices of most of the goods are too high. For example, my neighbor charges $3 for a dozen of free range eggs. Why would anybody pay $5?! I'm all about supporting small businesses and community while at the same time eating great food but not when I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. I was able to find some reasonably priced items like milk, 1/2 & 1/2 and mushrooms. They all tasted great!
One of my favorite places to visit. Wonderful produce, great environment & knowledgeable people too. I always get a few of vegetable & herb starts here.
I have never shopped at the OFM without purchasing something wonderful. We are so lucky to have this wonderful resource in our backyard!
