RecommendedOur loved one has been a resident at Olney Assisted Living for three years now. He has enjoyed the food, plentiful activities, and friendly staff. It has put our minds at ease knowing that he is happy and cared for there.
This is a beautiful dementia-specific community with a dedicated staff who are committed to helping not just residents but their family caregivers as well. I have worked with Christina Green for many years who is their Director of Marketing and Community Relations. What’s great about Christina is that she has a background also in managing dementia senior living communities. Families are in good hands when meeting with Christina.
Staff wasn't the most friendly. They let patients wonder around and some of the patients are very touchy with visitors and other patients.
Great staff all around! Clean facility. Excellent quality meals served in a small restaurant setting. Many activities and outings for residents. Staff, administration, chef/kitchen staff are always listening to the residents concerns. Always trying to make their days better. Highly recommend!
After a few very questionable facilities for my families situation, OAL made it clear that a few angels exist here on earth!! Many thanks from the Nowaskey crew.
The first experience I had was talking to Rhonda Thomas who was kind, knowledgable and made me feel so comfortable. We went to see the OAL this past Friday and my first impressions were warmth, caring and compassion, not to mention the bright, beautiful, safe environment, friendly smiling staff (everyone!), and happy residents. Our mom is going to get a second chance at living LIFE again! We can't wait! More to come....many thanks!
