Needed to go to urgent care and found them as they label this as urgent care (see photo). They said many providers called in sick and they only had one. I saw him for five minutes and he said he could run tests but because they were short staffed it would take hours. Here’s the kicker: Billed me as establishing new patient care instead of urgent care so insurance won’t cover it. Always professional and caring. They answer all my questions, do a very thorough assessment and have made referrals to outside resource when needed.
Had already tested negative for Step from Cub Pharmacy ($40) and explained my ongoing issues. No ideas so they suggested test for Strep again... Negative results. Total cost after insurance was $280 Out of Pocket... 🤦♂️
OMC-NW is a great clinic. OMC- Hospital is better than Mayo Clinic.
