My wife came here for help at 7:30pm today after three days of nausea and vomiting and got turned away by the nurse at the front desk.
my girlfriend called in pills Wednesday to refill a prescription for her kid and it said they needed to send a request to the doctor for a refill but itl be ready friday so today friday we tried to get them and we were told we needed to make an appointment to see the doctor why didn't the system alert us what we needed than we are not going to be in town for the next week and have no pills why cant they give an emergency prescription? is it acceptable to let medications run out? why does mayo clinic think its acceptable to h... read more
My Dr is busy pharmacy is slow today
I hesitantly visited Acute Care bright and early this morning and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. The front desk staff were very kind and the PA that saw me, Joel Weller, was great—not intimidating at all and quick to listen. He showed care and concern and his general demeanor made the experience very comfortable for me. I've not had great experiences at hospitals and have avoided them for a long time so it was nice to have a great one this morning!
