The nurses and doctors at the 8 South Palliative Care Unit at the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness & Research Centre provided truly exceptional care for my mother in her final days. They showed such compassion, kindness, and respect, ensuring she was comfortable and dignified at all times, while also supporting our family through a very difficult period. We are deeply grateful for their care and humanity. Thank you for everything. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The experience my family had was nothing short of appalling. Putting my late husband on a DNR with no consultation. Threatening to withhold insulin and food with no consultation. Unit manager was cold and uncaring as was the oncologist The Deputy head agreed with all I had to say at the time of a family meeting however never bothered to follow up after he died. As a Patient of nearly 6 years with ONJ I can't fault it. It has some of the best medical treatment available for cancer patients like myself and you have amazing health proffesionsls who are caring empathetic people I love going there . It's modern and dosent feel like a hospital .
