I agree with Deborah, but they are heavy weight wise so I am sure it is justified. But yes I LOVE these peppers and have relatives that bring them down for me or when someone is going up there I put in my request!
I had to make a last minute substitution for an ingredient for a layer dip for tortilla chips. I put a jar of sweet peppers in the food processing to chop the peppers into smaller pieces, 2 cans of refried beans, and 2 packets of taco season. Best tasting base for a tortilla layer dip.
I love everything about Oliverio's peppers! I love using the peppers with hot Italian sausage. My favorite will always and forever be Oliverio pickled cauliflower, mild and hot!
I am a huge fan of the sweet peppers. I buy at least 6 jars a month, but lately I've been disappointed in the amount of peppers vs. Sauce. There are not as much peppers as there used to be. Lately my jars have been 1/4 of the jar peppers and the rest sauce. It used to be at least 1/2 a jar of peppers. I buy them at different locations, so it's not just one store. I'm concerned if you're changing the way you're bottled them up. I will continue to be a fan, but I'm just concerned. Just wanted you to know.
