Great atmosphere – Me and some friends decided to try Olive or twist on a Saturday night. It was really nice inside, I loved the seating and the atmosphere. There were quite a bit of people there, but always enough room for incoming people to find somewhere to sit on the nice white couches. I was really disappointed with the martini list though. Sleek and Secluded... – I left Vault to meet a friend at Olive or Twist. When I entered I was worried that they were not open since it was so quiet, which ironically ended up being my favorite part! I didn?t have to scream to talk to my friend, and we had plenty of counter space at the bar top. Cool vibe, Pearl pricetag – This place is a good place to sit and chill with a yummy cocktail. Be prepared to pay for the cool atmosphere, though. The drinks are good, but pretty pricey. I wish I could've stayed to sample more of the interesting drinks, but at $9 a pop, I could only indulge in one. My bloodorange kamikaze was good--not too sweet. The spicy peach was delicious and totally an unexpected combination of flavors. If you're not worried about your wallet, make this a stop on your night out.
Great martini with great atmosphere... – My husband and I have been there since they first opened. Great martinis, wonderful service, and very sleek decor. I love the sophistication of their clientele, no loud and obnoxious patrons there. Very one is cool and relax and always have a good time. Besides martini, they can make a lot of other cocktail extremely well - I recently had a spanish coffee there, and it was perfection.
exotic martinis – My wife and I gave this place a shot after work a few weeks ago, and we were pleased by the unusual martini selection. We arrived around seven pm on a thursday and were surprised to find only ourselves and another couple the sole patrons. We were immediately warmly greeted and carefully attended upon the entire duration of our meal. The decor is sleek and appealing, but the restaurant is very small. Unfortunately my wife found her martini too spicy (it featured chili peppers), and couldn't drink it.
Love it! – My husband and I go here all the time to relax, get a great martini, and eat some yummy snacks. The atmosphere is perfect, and the people are great. Olive or Twist is a great getaway from a stressful day!
Best martinis in the city without the drunk frat boy element. – If you want a real martini made by one of the best bartenders in the city, check this place out!! None of the "fluffy" drinks you get at other martini bars. This place knows how to make the classics plus the bartenders will make you anything you want (and will do a darn good job of it!!) The food is also excellent, although they could use some changes on the appetizer menu. But the atmosphere is chic and you may even feel that you are in New York or San Fran!!
