I was really disappointed in the quality of service I received here, compared to the high prices. The owner provided my services. The wash was uncomfortable as she repeatedly jammed her fingers into the backs of my ears. She answered txt messages during my hair cut, and though I can understand the difficulty of juggling ownership, I found this to be highly unprofessional. Danielle, the owner, is a wizard with hair. I've been a client for 4+ years. She does an amazing job with very fine hair. Her eye for cut and style is dead on. A year ago I decided to go back to my natural color -- blond with grey/white and Danielle worked along with me to get the best look during the various stages of grow out. Prior to that she did a fabulous job of keeping me looking like a natural blond. The atmosphere in the salon itself is classy and fun!

I can not tell you how many times I have come home from a salon and cried. My husband says I'm the only woman who can take in a picture and come out looking nothing like it. But not so with Olive Hill Salon. I have left with a smile EVERY time I have had a hair cut. I drive from San Jose and it is well worth it.
