YOU MUST BE JOKING – unbelievable... a city like st. louis with a rich italian heritage and The Hill would vote for the Olive Garden! That's like voting McDonald's best hamburger. This is appalling. Maybe people who vote for the Olive Garden as best Italian should venture out of your new suburban cookie cutter neighborhoods and come to the city. Jeez! Makes me sick that you call yourselves St. Louisans!!!
A chain? No way! – New York has Little Italy and we have the Hill. I prefer almost any place on The Hill to the Olive Garden. You can get an Olive Garden anywhere and I don't think it's the best Italian food around.
Give me a break! – An average looking chain restaurant that serves halfway decent food does not deserve a 9 or 10 people. With all the gems of Italian restaurants in St. louis, Olive Garden doesn't come close. It's nothing but a cultureless suburbanite's excuse for good Italian.

Surpremeo! – The atmosphere is relaxing and the food is excellent. You couldn't ask for better service.
Excellent food – The Olive Garden has one of the most wonderful alfredo sauces I have ever tasted, and their salad is very good too.
