My wife and I had the distinct pleasure of dining at Olio tonight. Andy, our waiter (and bartender) was pleasant, personable, and very efficient. We started with the burrata and beet salad (pictured), and also had a pizza and the shrimp scampi. Every bite of everything was fresh and delicious. We dined here on the basis of a recommendation by an Italian friend living here in Baltimore and are super glad we did! We can’t wait until our next opportunity to visit Olio.
90% sure this place is closed, went there twice during their supposed open hours and the doors were locked
Awful. I tried this restaurant for the first time through UberEats and they delivered a bunch of gross food that I didn't order. Melted ice cream and some kind of soggy potato patty were among the items that were thrown into black plastic bags that were NOT SEALED and there was NO RECEIPT. It looked like the containers were tempered with and did not look safe or well-packaged. Beautiful historic restaurant with excellent service. The pizza was recommended to us before coming. The owner shared the 7 day process for making the fresh dough. The pizzas are made to order and DELICIOUS! My husband also got their filet mingon special and he said it was cooked perfectly. Was not busy for a Saturday night. This place deserves to be on your list of restaurants to visit. So good.
