She interacted with my child individually to address the concern in her own words. She was informative and gave me clear tinelines on when to reach out again yo evaluate.
Horrible bedside manner and no concern for patients; when I questioned her, she became angry and attempted to make me feel stupid. Rather than solve the issue and figure out the problem, she wanted to preform an invasive procedure on my daughter that therapists and her new GI doctor believe would have negatively and drastically altered her life forever. So glad I trusted my gut instinct and found a new doctor. Advocate for your children and do not let Dr. Sherrod treat them.
Difficult to contact by phone.
Absolutely horrible doctor. Wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy. She is extremely rude and very pushy. She was over an hour late every appointment I had. She downplays your symptoms and tells you that everything is in your head. She also yells at you if you question anything she tells you at all. STAY AWAY!! Should be ashamed to cal herself a doctor!!
Dr. Sherrod and her staff are very friendly and knowledgeable in the area of gastrointestinal issues. My daughter has been under her care for 6 months and I couldn't imagine trusting someone else with my daughter's care. She thoroughly explains what is expected, test results, and what steps are need to be taken next. Rubi is also great with patient care and making my daughter comfortable.
Our initial visit with Dr. Sherrod was smooth and seemingly very informative. However we later found out that the doctor neglected to share with us all options for testing. She only presented the most invasive option and did not suggest the less invasive testing option until the first test was found to be negative. She justified this decision stating there was no need for the test when in actuality the test would not verify a current diagnosis but would state whether our son had the genetic mark
