My husband and I had a fabulous date night at the Ole Store Saturday night. Knowing we would have a little wait for a table, we arrived early, sat at the bar and enjoyed a glass of wine and an appetizer ( the crab cakes are to die for). The atmosphere was just what we were looking for..relaxing and friendly. We moved into the main dinning area for dinner where our server went above and beyond to make our evening special. As Northfielders and frequent patrons, we are lucky to have to have the Ole Store close by! Always excellent service and food! We love the appetizers and wine and beer choices, as well as entrees that are crafted from scratch. We always recommend the Ole to people who ask where to dine in our town. Cheers to our recent appetizers and wine night-- our favorite 'no kids' meal out!
I was served something at The Ole Store that I was assured was gluten-free. I became violently ill after eating something that obviously did contain gluten. The Ole Store has not responded to two e-mails I sent within the last 7 days. I would encourage anyone with Celiac Disease or gluten-sensitivity to dine elsewhere.
So damn good!!! Best fish entrees ever, I would highly recommend it to anyone!
Love this hidden gem! The food is excellent! Fresh quality ingredients and the staff is so friendly and knowledgeable! Highly recommend this quaint little place.
We were sent over here from the Tavern.. We sat and waited for a table while there were quite a few open, food was mediocre (bacon was hard as a rock and coffee not fantastic). Our waitress (Lauren P.) on the hand was great!
