Went with a group for a birthday Celebration. Our server was excellent--knowledgeable, kind, funny. Drinks were amazing. Food was very good--I had the fish tacos and enjoyed them but I think I would have better enjoyed something more interesting like one of the mole dishes. I will venture further next time!
Food and drink awesome. Sound level. Horrible there was a large party that kept having shots and getting louder and louder. Screaming at points.
Guacamole was great, if ridiculously expensive at $14. My chicken pibil was dry, over-cooked and tasteless, although the vegetables were very nice. My wife's enchiladas were ok, but not as good as in many of the less expensive Mexican places around. The dining room was cold too.
I happened to be in the area and based on the reviews decided to check this place out. I came in and sat at the bar where the bartender greeted me and was extremely friendly and attentive. He suggested the "neighborhood" special which included their tableside guacamole and two or three small plates for a very reasonable and affordable price.
