It was our first time there, I ordered the cioppino, out of this world good!!! The broth was very tasty the fish was very fresh... looking forward to going back again.
The old port in is located at the end of the third pier in Avila Beach where there are approximately eight parking spaces in front of the restaurant otherwise park before you enter the pier and walk down to the restaurant where you can purchase fresh fish caught daily or enjoy The fine dining room and enjoy a variety of meals at a reasonable price with a gorgeous view of the ocean whether it be from the patio room or the dining room deck where you can see and view the ocean below the pier. Great setting, OK service, the food just wasn't up to par. Mahi special was swimming in the featured sauce, steamer clams were overpriced, calamari was out-there-good but the daily fish was sadly desiccated.
RecommendedGreat place to have my 60th birthday dinner. Located at the end of a fishing pier. The seafood is so fresh they have live crab and rockfish in the fish market. Astounding ocean view. Our table had a glass top that looked into the water under the pier. Several sea otters provided entertainment right off the pier. Great food and service.
