We waited outside in line in the cold and pouring rain to get a table. We were also willing to go to the bar. Anywhere just to get warm, get some food, & get some drink. The man at the door sat the couple in front of us but when he came back for us he turned us away. No explanation. Just said "Sorry I don't have anything for you." I don't know if he thought we wouldn't be buying much or what. We're on vacation. I have mad money burning a hole in my pocket. I wanted some hot soup and a nice pint. RecommendedI visited this pub yesterday. I was quite impressed! The entire town is packed with people this time of year and I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean this place was, even the bathroom was very clean and well stocked. Our server, Kellie, was friendly, and attentive. The drinks were great and the burger I had was one of the best I have ever tasted in my life!! If I lived in Salem, I would be a regular for sure!!
