Doc removed a 17 lb tumor from my Catahoula Leopard. He went above and beyond to take care of her. She's home and resting comfortably. Thanks to a wonderful vet and a superb staff!
Just took my 120 lb German Shepherd to see Dr Heilman. She hasn't seen him since she was a puppy & my dogs almost never leave the farm, so therefore, can be slow to warm up to strangers. Dr Heilman actually sat down on the floor & spoke kindly to her until she was comfortable with him! How many vets take that kind of time? If you're looking for a vet, I would definitely recommend him.
Dr Heilman is absolutely wonderful! If I could give him 10 stars I would. I was referred to him earlier this year for life saving surgery my Lhasa needed. We have been to him several times now due to other issues he now has. Dr Heilman came in Sunday to help us. He is amazing not only with the animals but the owners also. I will recommend him to everyone I know with pets.
