Old World Designs I first discovered Old World Designs when it was housed in the Allied Arts Guild. At that time they sold some cross stitch supplies. Now that they are in downtown Menlo Park, they no longer sell cross stitch fabric but have a huge selection of threads. They also sell canvases for needlepoint and some preprinted canvases. PROS: Good selection of needle work threads. CONS:

Needlework Need Work? I have also been a great enthusiast for hand crafts, and needlework is not only a beautiful thing to witness (as a finished product) but a fun and enjoyable social activity to participate in also. Old World Designs caters to both aspects of this craft. The space is chock full of everything you'll need for any needlepoint project. If you're just getting started the staff is a great resource. Been tempted many times They have the most lovely patterns and supplies for needle work. The store is happy, bright and well stocked. They are almost the only place to go to for needlework in the South Bay.
