Atrocious. – Totally disappointing food and drinks. Food was runny/watery. Patio is nice, good date place. Other than that, it's a typical Scottsdale restaurant: trendy, tasteless food, overpriced.
Beautiful Patio Great Food – I recently visited the Old Town Tortiila Factory and was thrilled. The patio is beautiful!! My husband and I loved the margaritas and the food was exceptional. Our service was excellent and the red chile pork chop was amazing!! I would highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family.
You have to try this place! – The Old Town Tortilla Factory was a wonderful find. They offer tasty margaritas, have a beautiful patio and wonderful service. I definitely recommend the Pollo Margarita or the Pork Chop and they even serve warm flavored tortillas before dinner. This is a don't miss!!!
Appetizers good, entrees not so much – The tortilla soup and salad we had were good, but then my bf got the pork dish, which was highly recommended and his pork was very dry. I had the ribs and they looked really good, but were on the bland side. The margaritas were worth it and the ambience was fun and light. I'd go there and maybe just order drinks and appetizers.
Disappointment and over-rated – When we saw that this was the "top rated" southwestern restaurant, we thought it would be a must for our brief visit to Scottsdale. We were sad to discover that this place is vastly over-rated. The food was rather bland (I had the Pollo Margarita and my wife had the Old town tacos) and the menu was fairly limited. Service was attentive and the food came quickly. We were just disappointed in the quality of the meal.
Not worth it – The service is poor. We walked in & they sat us in front of the fire place & a few minutes later we were asked to move by the hosts who wanted to sit her friends there. The food was very expensive & not even mexican cuisine. The margarita's are not good. This place is highy overrated
To long a wait to eat – My husaband and I were recently in Phoenix and went to try the Old Town Tortilla Factory. We had a 45 minute wait...we were told it would only be a few minutes...the patio is beautiful, but by the time we were escorted into the restaurant we really no longer were even very hungry....the service was great...it's the waiting that is not acceptable...
Great Patio, but that's it. – I have been here five times or so, only because it truly does have the best patio and I keep hoping the rest of the place will come around! The service is atrocious, and the food is marginal at best.
Fantastic Experience – Old Town Tortilla Factory was a great time this Friday night. We sat outside and enjoyed margaritas and the restaurants Pork Chop. Old Town Tortilla Factory is a must if you enter the Phoenix area.
