Tasty! – Took the family out for the hubby's birthday and tried the Old Town Tortilla Factory. The food was tasty, the margaritas were yummy and the patio was amazing. The establishment was busy and handled our table with care!
Great Establishment! – Food was great, our server was first class and the patio is the best in AZ!. My girlfriends and i went out for a nice dinner. Our server was charming, the maragritas were premium and the food was tasty. I recommend the Pork Chop, Ribs and the Salmon. If you like desert save room for the banana crisp! Can't wait to go back when its cooler....
worst restaurant in scottsdale – I dont know what was worse the food or the service. i ordered the pollo margarita which the server suggested and it tasted like wood. if you want to eat food that is bland and tastless this is the place to go. the service was horrible. our server never checked on us and refused to split up our bill before we ordered there was 3 couples! what were we all supposed to have cash?! Stay away from this place unless you want to waste your money!
I'd rather eat chalk dust . . . – . . . than eat the c-r-@-p that they pass as food at Tortilla Factory. I never write reviews on sites like this. Ever. However, this place was so awful I felt it was my civic duty to mankind to do what I can to prevent others from experiencing the most bland, flavor-less, overpriced food and horrendous service in existence. At least in existing west of the Mississippi. Do yourself a favor and don't step foot in this place.
Bad Experience – My wife and I decided to try this place after the art walk last Thursday in Scottsdale. It was actually raining and cold, so the great patio was out of the question. Unfotunately, the food was much like the weather on the night we visited, cold. The tortillas were nothing to right home about. We had to wait several minutes for our drinks on a slow night. Expensive mistake! – This is quite possibly the WORST dining experience in all of Scottsdale/Phoenix. I ingored the negative comments but wish that I had not. We had a group of 11 and there was not one positve comment from anyone. The cheaptest margarita was $8.75 and tasted of water with a lime squeeze. You have to pay $3.99 per order of chips and salsa and the food was bland and hideously overpriced. absolute worst in Scottsdale – The absolute worst restaurant in Scottsdale. I can't believe I have to give this place 1 star to rate it. It's horrible. Our food came out cold. The first entree and last entree came to our table 25 minutes apart! We timed it. And there was only 5 people in our group--not a huge order. We like to dine together, not 25 minutes apart and on cold food. I would skip this one... – As an Arizona Native I have heard about the Old Town Tortilla Factory for years, but had never made the journey over to the restaurant until last night. The ambience is nice, and the wait staff was very accomodating, but the food was mediocre at best. I had a chile verde dish and the pork was extremely overcooked and lacked any flavor, except for the chile sauce they poured over the pork right before delivery to our table. Great Experience! – From the time we walked into the restaurant we were in heaven. First we started out with margaritas and some shrimp cocktail. Then moved onto the Pork Chop and Margarita Chicken which are always great. Finished off the meal with the chef's banana crisp and a nice cup of coffee! What a experience. It's our favorite spot to eat outside in Scottsdale!!
