About this business

Since 1974, Old Town Pizza has been serving up delicious pies in a warm, retro atmosphere of antiques, velvet sofas and fringed lamps. The pizza prices are still affordable here, with a basic small pizza is large enough to feed one or two people whereas a basic large pizza feeds two or three. More than two dozen toppings are available, as well as pastas and toasted Italian sandwiches. And while you are seated in a corner room, you might get a visit from the resident ghost Nina, who has been wandering around the building sinc... read more

Good food in a cool setting – Really good pizza (and pasta, and salads) along with a great selection of ales, lagers, and pilsners, etc, and a long wine list. The atmosphere is laid way back and the building is cozy. This place was made for cold, rainy winter nights. Non-tomato lovers be warned: the pizza sauce isn't a smooth paste. It has good sized chunks of tomato in it. Oh, and the coffee/espresso/etc is just smashing.

Best Pie in Town – There are only four things that require judging when it comes to pizza. 1) The Crust 2) The Sauce 3) The ingredients 4) Price. If there is anyone out there who hasn't figured out that Old Town Pizza has all three nailed, you still have time to change your ways.

Great Pizza, fun relaxed atmosphere – This is not the place to go if you are craving a snobby gourmet experience. This is the place for drinkable wines and beers along with satisfying pizza and relaxed, whimsical atmosphere.

Old Town is still #1 – Old Town Pizza is a family favorite. Whenever I have relatives in town, it's the 1st place I take them for dinner (or lunch). The pizza is amazingly fantastic, the atmosphere is cool and quirky, and the staff is friendly and fast. I travel alot, have tried lot's of different pizza places in many different cities all over the states and Canada. I haven't found any establishment quite as wonderful as this one. Awesome job!!

Really, Really good. – Love the atmosphere. Funky, cool, laid back. Really good pizzy with zesty pepperoni. They make nice non-pizza dishes too. I have always had great service here. A very nice selection of beers on tap, with some of the better pitcher prices in Portland. The whole menu is great to eat cheap by. Only drawback is no smoking. This kind of place, with its old school atmosphere, should have a smoking section. Otherwise, a top notch establishment.
