horrible vet!!plz i recommend not going there! – They are very mean!i took my miniature ratt terrier there to get surgery and she bit the man because she was afraid and the man called animal control on her and she had to stay at a kennel for 10 days and i had to pay 500 dollars for her to stay there and my dog doesnt have rabies she was even tested!
Wonderful customer service! – When I first went to Dr. Hicks office in Katy, it was for an emergency. My puppy had been bitten by one of the dogs in the backyard, I'm thinking domination establishment, and his little face started to swell. I looked all through the phone books and called numerous clinics, none of them could take him until the next or two days. And these were emergency clinics! Love Dr. Hicks! – I am so surprised by the previous review. Dr. Hicks and his staff are wonderful. It is like an old time vet's office. Nothing fancy, just caring for the animals. I have called him on weekends and holidays and he always calls me back. I would highly recommend him!
Would never return – I took my cats in to get declawed. The staff offered no information about recovery and after care for the animals. After asking what to do, they conradicted what I've heard from other vets, telling me to use regular litter and to keep their bandages on for 7 - 10 days. My cats were miserable. The vet completely missed three claws - did not remove them!
