The most caring group I've ever experienced – It was a sad day to have to put your dog down but the doctor and staff were the best and most caring group I have ever experienced. That is from me and my children. They love getting treats for them when they take the dog to the vet.
Very Happy Customer – I moved to Katy a few years ago and started using Old Town Animal Hospital for my 2 dogs and have been a loyal customer ever since. My first visit was on a Wednesday, when they offer 25% off vaccines. The office was very busy and there was a bit of a wait, but Dr. Hicks still took the time to treat me and my pets with care and respect. Extremely Caring Vet – We have taken our animals to Dr. Hicks for years. He and his staff have always provided excellent care. He has always been willing to carefully explain everything that is going on concerning any of our pets. We would never consider going anywhere else besides to Dr. Hicks and the caring people at Old Town Animal Hospital.
Fantastic Experience – I have used Dr. Hicks at Old Town Animal Hospital as my vet for several years. The staff is fantastic and Dr. Hicks has always taken time to answer all my questions. My dogs just love going to the vet now!
Not good at diagnosing – After 4 visits and med's each time I went to another clinic,. This vet diagnosed my cat in thirty seconds and brought pictures from veterinary books ...gave my cat a cortisone shot and we were done. I wasted alot of time and money...thinking I was able to get a first visit free,.
DANGEROUS vet/boarding--beware! – I hope these posts can save people/pets from going through these nightmares. I was visiting my sister and boarded my 6 month old Golden here for 3 nights. After the 3rd night, we called to see if the dogs were ready for us to pick up. Dr. Hicks got on the phone and told me that my puppy had really bad loose stools Friday, and this morning they noticed he had been scratching himself and they started him on antibiotics. Greatest Place Ever – Dr. Hicks has been my pets vet for many years he was great and very cheap prices compared to other vets I have gone to. His techs were very nice as well, I have nothing bad to say about Dr. Hicks and his staff.
Dr Hicks- Old Town Animal Hospital & Katy Pet Clinic – Took my dog into get spayed. Did not get to take her home. My dog died under Vet Hicks care. When i asked what went wrong Vet Hicks response was pretty much stuff happens. No apology or anything. I would not trust Vet Hicks with a goldfish. I regret my decision to use Vet Hicks every day. He stole a family member from me.
For your pet's health avoid this place! – I took my cat there because she had an awful cough, that she caught at fix houston clinic while being spayed, so they recomend this clinic old town animal hospital, The vet give us some antibiotics that didn't work at all for 2 weeks, and we went back there because she developed a rash all over her head and belly.. he give us more antibiotics that didn't work again! she got worst, she lose her hair on the head and constantly scrating and bleeding! is so sad.. that from a cough she is... read more
