My husband and I took his 90-year-old father for lunch. The food was very good, although it seemed just a bit pricey. The beer prices were very reasonable, although my draft could have been a little colder. The Venice restaurant just opened, so that may have been a growing pain. Our server, Renee, was very friendly and had great suggestions. We plan to head back for happy hour next week.
Wow !! Super yummy. I had a lobster roll with delicious tempura onion rings with a spicy boom boom sauce. Kyle had the raw oysters, which were giant ! Plus washed it down with an attitude margarita, fresh lime & orange juice with tequila & orange liquor. We sat at the bar, shaped like a boat & overlooking the marina. Staff was really friendly & they have only been open 1 week & have regulars ! The owners were there & made us feel right at home. By far, the best new restaurant in Venice.

Just like the other restaurants that carry this name good food and good selection of beer just needs to work out the kinks with service then I can see this place being a five star establishment.

Great food! Great atmosphere! So happy that there is now a location close to home.
Came here on the 3rd day of opening. Waited quite awhile for our food. Over an hour. Our meal was comped, and we came back the very next day! The entire staff is very accommodating and the food is fantastic! You can bet we WILL be back every time we return to Venice! Thanks Old Salty Dog for great memories!!!
