I had Caesar Dalad with grilled Mahal & it was just ok. Dressing wasn’t great. Two of my friends had mussels & they were too salty. (Maybe that’s why they call it Old Salty Dog!). My other friend had fish tacos & they were very small. The wine was good! 🍷😝. Doubt if I would go back.
Walked out of Snarkey's tonight after waiting an hour for a table and 15 minutes for no table service. Thank you Old Salty Dog and thank you Skylar, our waiter. You salvaged our night with your excellent customer service!
Hit it just as a cloud burst of rain came down, sitting at the outside bar. Service and food was OK. Like it because of its ambiance. Very relaxing and refreshing.
My new favorite place. Friendly staff and can’t wait to take Romeo the pug.
Good service but over priced medium food at best. And dear God turn the AC on. Not a place i will revisit.
Came in from Jacksonville area and this was the 1st place we stopped. Even with the constructionp, that wasn't to bad. A nice place and really like that it's a dog friendly place�. When we come back to Venice beach we'll most diffently come back.
We love going here and generally go every week. Love their clam chowder and the mussels. I order the same thing every single time.
