The restaurant used to be a dairy. I never knew there was a dairy in Orange! Texas Historical marker tells the entire story. Fabulous old photos of some of the founding families on the walls of the dining room. Tiles from the dairy still on the walls, marker with how high the water got when Ike came through and other interesting artifacts to peruse.
Amazing food at every visit!!!!!!!! Crab cake was AMAZING!
I loved the place. Space was small but with it being a old building it was worth it.
Always amazing. Their buttermilk pie is to die for!
We eat at OOC on average twice a month, always for Sunday lunch. Sometimes we have to wait to be seated, sometimes not. There is ALWAYS a crowd. So, what to eat? Anything on the menu! Their lunch specials are always fun, filling and tasty. Try the shrimp and grits, or the burgers, or the chicken fried chicken or the Main Street Salad. It's just dang good food, period. If I worked in Orange, I'd eat there more often. Did I mention the shrimp po-boy? And the pecan pie... Pink lemonade?
