Incorrect diagnosis, poor knowledge of product and terrible customer service. The staff said technicians can tell what’s wrong within an hour and confirmed they know our lift brand (we sent through lift details prior to booking). The after sales service received was very poor initially we reported 2 faults with the elevator. Issue 1. The main would not close so the lift did not operate A Technician arrived to resolve these issues, He seemed unfamiliar with this product, He diagnosed the issue with door incorrectly and had to go to Bunnings to buy the tools he needed to repair the problem. I recently had a terrible experience with Old Mate Elevators. The workers, or perhaps even the owner, displayed incredibly rude and disrespectful behavior. Encounters with drivers of branded ute more than one were particularly unpleasant. It's disappointing that a company with such visible branding would allow such behavior from its employees. I strongly urge Old Mate Elevators to address the conduct of its workers and strive for a more professional approach.
