About this business
History Established in 1998. It was a rainy Mother's day in 1998 when we discovered the 75 acres and abandoned farm house at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With the help of family, friends, and a local grape grower, we soon began working to transform the property into Old House Vineyards. Today, the formerly overgrown alfalfa fields are lush vineyards producing grapes for our award-winning wines. RecommendedOld house has transitioned over the years from a regular winery to a winery/distillery and they sell beer too. Lots of outside seating and It’s a fun place to hang out with friends and family. They have live music on the weekends.

Plenty of acreage and seating everywhere around the lake and main house to bring picnic, fish, or just sit back under the trees for the scenery! Their lake pavilion has serving venue too so you don’t have to walk back to main serving house area!
Awesome place. I hope we get to see all of it someday when this COVID passes. Beautiful grounds and nice selection.
