About this business
History Established in 1998. It was a rainy Mother's day in 1998 when we discovered the 75 acres and abandoned farm house at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With the help of family, friends, and a local grape grower, we soon began working to transform the property into Old House Vineyards. Today, the formerly overgrown alfalfa fields are lush vineyards producing grapes for our award-winning wines. Love this place , the-owner and his family are the friendliest, the wine is very good and their new Irish Pub is really nice!
I love taking family and friends for a visit to OHV. Now there is something for everyone to enjoy - wine, spirits, brews, pizza, and entertainment (seasonal). The venue is gorgeous and views of the Culpeper mountain ranges spectacular. It's off the beaten path but so worth the trip.
Great Chocolate Fondue for Valentines Day. Really had a nice time. We will be back.

Had a great time, and family is so friendly and knowledgeable! Beautiful grounds to explore when it’s warmer, but inside is just as beautiful. Cozy vineyard house, intriguing distillery, and large open area for the brewery. Don’t forget the gorgeous Irish Pub!!!

James the bartender was extremely knowledgeable. The Rose was excellent. We will definitely go back to this charming winery.
