About this business
History Established in 1998. It was a rainy Mother's day in 1998 when we discovered the 75 acres and abandoned farm house at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. With the help of family, friends, and a local grape grower, we soon began working to transform the property into Old House Vineyards. Today, the formerly overgrown alfalfa fields are lush vineyards producing grapes for our award-winning wines. Beautiful place! Plenty of room for social distancing. Two bars (at the Old House and by the lake) but only partial selection of beer and wine at each bar. They allow fishing from the ponds. Dogs welcome. Very relaxing. I would definitely go back.
We spent a lovely day there. Everyone was very nice and very knowledgeable. Definitely coming back!

Fantastic place for some socially distanced Fall fun! Guests complied with the mask requirement when in line & tables are outdoor with ample space between them. An absolutely beautiful property & fun for the whole family.
