The Old Homestead Steak House first opened in 1868 and it remains a straightforward, old-fashioned steakhouse without sacrificing any of the modern amenities. In this sense, thankfully, it is no longer that difficult to get Kobe beef from Japan, which probably wasn't on the menu in 1868. Most of the dishes are priced in the higher range, but are well worth your money.

RecommendedNot cheap but it was a great meal.

Great food. Great decor. 🤪 but way too hot in the library, everyone in that section was complaining. Servers not attentive as much as other big name places we go to.
Our server was not so attentive and service was slow, but the food quality was TOP NOTCH. All in all, a good experience and we would definitely return.
