Great BBQ The place from the outside looks kind of nasty, but it is one of the best BBQ places in NC. Its a must try place!
The best Brunswick Stew! I don't even like Brunswick Stew and I love it here. The BBQ is great too. This is one of our favorite BBQ places in the area. It isn't NC style BBQ but is very good.
Great Brunswick Stew and BBQ I've been going to this place for over 25 years and it's still the same as when I was a kid. Great service, the staff just make you feel like a regular whether it's your first time or your 50th time. The Bruswick stew is awesome, and is the BBQ. You can request no sauce if you prefer it that way. The atmosphere is old timey, with wooden booths and 20+ year old chairs and covered wagons on the lights at each booth.
good BBQ Old Hickory House Restaurant serves up some of the finest BBQ in NC. Their brunswick stew is some that makes me drool just writing about it. I cannot wait until my next trip to Charlotte to come here to eat again. I've come here for years since I was a child and let's just say I'm in my 50's now. :)
