Great view, but no thank you The view from are room was wonderful. Everything was great until night time rolled along. The weekend that we stayed at the Inn they played really loud music. We called the front desk. They promised that it would end around mid-night. It finally end at a quarter till 2. It was not till 3pm that we fell asleep...till the drunks cleared out. We received no compensation, nor warning. There were many of us that complained about the noise for two night to management. Nothing was done.
No no We had to check out due to the noise coming from the bar attached/below the hotel. If,if you must stay here, please make sure it is not on a Thurs thru Sunday. I stayed with my teenage kids. We could not sleep. The noise and music was so loud and we were on another floor. It also smelled of beer.
very noisy This hotel is in a good location but it is very noisy at night. There is a bar below the hotel and one on the harbor. Beware when you book your room unless you plan to drink all night in the bars and riverboat all night.
It was ok. I think that I expected a lot more from the website. I think the rooms should have been at least 50-100 bucks cheaper. The pool was really small. Need help wt the housekeeping. The staff is far from friendly.
Nice Views Quaint hotel in downtown South Haven. Close to beaches, Old Harbor Village and other attractions. Great views of Black River, downtown and South Haven Harbor. They even have an indoor pool!
One wild night, no sleep – Old Harbor Inn has rooms that are very comfortable. Housekeeping is average, dusting needs to be worked on. We had a room wt a great view of the harbor. No one let us know that the bar below us as well as the riverboat would keep us up to the early hours. The bar in the hotel rocked till 1 am all weekend and so did our room. No refund. No warning.
Okay for younger patron – This hotel is okay for younger patron. They have a lot of concerts at the bar. It get really noisey really late. My aunt stayed there and they had to check out and go elsewhere. They are still fighting for their refund. They were never notified of music that played for 3 nights in a row.
