We ate there last night for the first time. The food was fantastic, as was the service!
Our group of 8 spent the night recently as we rode the Katy Trail. We had dinner in the bar and found the food and service very good indeed. The rooms upstairs were clean, comfortable and quiet. Washington is a nice town. It will be great when they have a bike lane over the bridge. There are bike shops in town that will shuttle you across from the trail head a few miles away for a nominal fee.
I guess I've just had bad luck. Reading all the rave reviews. I want to love the food, but find it to be very average. And I've given it several tries. I do love the space and location, but food... Meh

I love this place! I went last night and had the always delicious blackened salmon salad. I highly recommend it! I went with a large group and Justin, our server, was incredibly accommodating and gracious to us the whole time. It was a great experience!
